Drayton Manor Park Jobs
First impressions become lasting impressions! Keeping our Park and the surrounding grounds in top shape, helping to make the guest experience the best it can possibly be is something we pride ourselves on. Being able to give our guests the “WOW” factor is something else.
As the Company’s Landscaper and working as part of the Estates Maintenance Team you will take pride in knowing that your flair for design is putting Drayton Manor on the horticultural map. Using a full range of landscaping skills and techniques, you will be responsible for designing and delivering creative, fun solutions that reflect a Theme Park location, which are also sensitive to the environment and sustainable.
Moving your ideas from conception to reality, you will be involved with the planning, design and management of our open spaces. You will need to be comfortable dealing with contractors and third parties and negotiating prices for supplies and materials, balancing both cost and quality, to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
As this is a highly practical role, you will need to be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weathers. At least 3-years experience of soft landscaping is required (experience of hard and soft landscaping and in the use of small machinery would be a distinct advantage). Although a qualification in landscape design or horticulture is preferred, equivalent experience will also be welcomed. A full valid Driving Licence is required.
