The Lake

Hey Guys. I’m Emma from Coasters on the Coast. Drayton Manor have very kindly invited me to feature as this month’s guest blogger.

Over on my blog, I write & share weekly posts centred around my passion for themed attractions, discussing various topics & top tips for visiting theme parks all around the world.

Here are just a couple of reasons why I think visiting the fantastic Drayton Manor is a great idea.

1. Unique Rides

Shockwave – Drayton Manor

Drayton Manor is home to some unique rides, particularly for the UK. Shockwave – the UKs only stand up rollercoaster – instantly pops to my mind, alongside Apocalypse’s stand up no floor tower. Both experiences are completely incredible.

Another ride that is 100% worth visiting for is The Haunting, re-opening on 21st June! Accelerator, Maelstrom and Bounty are also FAB. Not forgetting the award winning Thomas Land area for the little ones.

2. The Zoo

I have an enormous amount of love for Drayton Manor Zoo. I love visiting to see their adorable animal family. From macaques and tamarins, to reptiles and meerkats – there’s something for everyone

It’s so rare you’ll wander through and not spot some kind of enhancement. The team at Drayton have an incredible amount of care, love and pride for their zoo. The animals always look healthy and happy, plus they support many conversation efforts. So for an animal lover like myself, it fills me with such warmth to see it grow and go from strength to strength. As Annual Passholders, we sometimes nip to the park just for a zoo day!

3. Affordable Quality Day Out

Accelerator – Drayton Manor

Drayton Manor is one of the most affordable theme parks in the UK. The quality day out you get for the price is mind-blowing. If your local, the Annual Pass is something I can’t recommend enough. £99 for a whole year of fun – what could be better?! It’s no wonder that Drayton Manor has won awards for ‘Best Value Family Day Out’ in the Day Out With The Kids – Family Favourites Awards.

4. Events

Magical Christmas
Drayton’s Magical Christmas

I’m a huge fan of the Fireworks and Christmas events hosted by Drayton Manor. I have reviews on my blog for both, so feel free to have a read.

Drayton Manor’s Magical Christmas is, as it states in the name, magical. Thomas Land is transformed into a beautiful Christmas paradise where snow falls throughout the day. There’s a number of shows to keep you entertained, alongside several seasonal treats. You’ll without a doubt have an incredibly fun and festive day at this family event!

Their annual Firework Spectacular event is amazing. It’s a brilliant opportunity to enjoy rides in the dark, after experiencing a show-stopping firework display. Both events are well worth checking out; the park does an outstanding jo

5. The Atmosphere and Must-Try Foods

Ultimate Burger

The atmosphere at this park is one of my all-time favourites. It has such a warm homely vibe. I adore the up-beat music across the park as it adds a real feel-good atmosphere.

Honestly, you have not tried theme park food until you eat at Drayton Manor. The food is something else, and the quality across every single food outlet there is at the park is immense. In fact, if I don’t stop raving about their food I’ll be here forever talking about it.

Huge thank you to Drayton Manor for asking me to Guest Blog. I’ve had a blast. Check out their 2021 tickets & prices here.
