Good day to you all. When disembarking on the magical Island of Sodor during our Thomas & Friends Weekends there really are some must do adventures that any dedicated little engine needs to try and accomplish. Follow my advice and you’ll have a tootingly splendid time with us.

Top tip number 1

Head straight to Knapford Station and catch a ride on Thomas as he heads down to Tidmouth Hault. Don’t forget to give those friendly Islanders a wave as you pass through Drylaw Station, taking in the scenery, you may even spot a cheeky animal in our zoo as you go past as well. When you disembark from your Thomas train journey you can experience Thomas favourites such Terrence’s Driving School down in the Zoo, as well as checking out some of our amazing zoo animals such as Tapir and Sumatran Tigers.

Top tip number 2

Well as you’re now down in the Zoo, located right in the far corner of the park you will spot a huge Thomas & Friends sign and this takes you into our wonderful exhibition of the original Thomas the Tank Engine sets and tracks. Take a minute away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy watching Thomas, Percy or Edward peep peep their way around the original TV sets. This is fun for the young and the young at heart as you can reminisce over all those lazy hours spent with all of Sodor’s favourite characters.

Top tip number 3

Head back to Knapford Station right in the heart of Thomas Land. Sing, dance and jump along with all your favourite Thomas Land characters whilst you enjoy our live shows every hour on the balcony of the Station. Whether you’re after meeting The Fat Controller, Fungineer Freddie or Station Mistress Sally, you’re guaranteed to see at least one of them strutting their stuff to a Thomas & Friends classic tune every day in Thomas Land.

Top tip number 4

With over 25 rides how on earth do you start to plan which one to visit first? Well that’s where we’ve got you covered. Start at Winston’s Whistle Stop Tour, it gives you unrivalled views over Thomas Land and Drayton Manor Park so you can see all that is on offer throughout the rest of your day, and a nice calm adventure for engines of any age.

Top tip number 5

Finish your visit by heading over to the WORLD’S largest Thomas Shop, located right here in Thomas Land at Drayton Manor Park.
