International Tiger Day
Sunday 29th July
Join us on Sunday 29th July as we celebrate International Tiger Day.
We will be hosting a whole load of Tiger-tastic activities as we help raise money for ‘WildCats Conservation Alliance’ who’s aim is to conserve Tigers in the wild, just take a look at what you can be getting up to:
- Tiger face painting
- Complete our Tiger Trail for the chance to win a family ticket to return to the park
- Guess the name of the Tiger Teddy
- Tiger Talks
- Tiger enrichment
- Plus much more
We are very proud that Drayton Manor Zoo is home to two wonderful critically endangered Sumatran Tigers called Dua and Dora.
TOP TIP: the best time to catch a glimpse of our amazing Tigers is first thing in the morning, so when you’re here and waiting for the rides to open why not head down to the Zoo and check them out?
As well as all of the fundraising activities you can be getting involved with, the Drayton Manor team will be will be taking on a 400 mile bike ride throughout the weekend of Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th July as this is the approximate number of Sumatran Tigers left in the wild. There will be donation boxes available alongside, we hope you will support us in this wonderful cause.
Last year we raised an amazing £2,550.00 and aim to smash it this year.
