WHICH ATTRACTIONS WILL BE OPEN?
During Magical Christmas, only Thomas Land, selected family rides and the zoo are open, no thrill rides will be open.

WHAT TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE?
There are 2 types of tickets:
1. Entry to Magical Christmas – This gives access to Thomas Land, selected family rides, 15-acre Zoo; all set in a wonderful Christmas environment, with falling snow, decorations, roaming entertainment, and small magical fireworks display at the end of each evening, usually begins 10 minutes before park closing time.
2. Entry to Magical Christmas plus the grotto experience. This includes all the above, AND our new grotto experience; an enchanted Christmas walk through the Castle, guided by elves, your little ones can enjoy story time with Mrs Claus, make reindeer food with Father Christmas’ elves and meet Father Christmas himself! As you make your way through the castle for your 30-minute Grotto experience, the kids will spend one-to-one time with Father Christmas, before collecting their present and the adults will receive a hot chocolate and mince pie.
IS THE MAGICAL CHRISTMAS PLUS THE GROTTO EXPERIENCE FOR ALL OF THE FAMILY?
Magical Christmas is fully inclusive and is to be enjoyed by all members of the family. There will also be a place to leave pushchairs as we advise not taking these into the experience due to restrictions on space.

CAN I USE TESCO CLUBCARD VOUCHERS?
No, Tesco vouchers cannot be redeemed against Magical Christmas this year.
CAN I BUY TICKETS ON THE DAY?
Yes, you can buy park tickets on the day, however there is no guarantee you will be able to upgrade to the grotto experience.
CAN I STAY AT DRAYTON MANOR HOTEL THE NIGHT BEFORE OR AFTER MAGICAL CHRISTMAS?

AFTER I BOOK, WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY TICKET(S)?
Once you have made your booking, your confirmation email will be sent to you containing either your e-tickets if you have chosen this option or your confirmation number if you have chosen to collect your tickets on the day.
WILL MY CHILD RECEIVE A GIFT?
Yes, all children that visit Father Christmas will receive a gift. The gift will be chosen by the children from Father Christmas' Workshop.
CAN MY CHILD GO INTO THE GROTTO EXPERIENCE ON THEIR OWN?
No, children under the age of 12 are not allowed to enter the experience unaccompanied by an adult.
DO I NEED A GROTTO EXPERIENCE TICKET AS AN ADULT?
All guests wishing to enter the grotto experience is required to purchase the grotto experience ticket.
I'M AN ANNUAL PASS HOLDER. DOES MY 0-1 YEAR OLD NEED A TICKET FOR THE GROTTO EXPERIENCE.
Yes, this costs just £5.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I BOOK ONTO THE EXPERIENCE?
Maximum of 7 guests per booking on the website, however, if you require more tickets please call our call centre on 0844 472 1950*
HOW LONG WILL THE MAGICAL CHRISTMAS EXPERIENCE LAST?
The experience can last all day as we have a variety of rides and attractions available around the park for all ages. If you have purchased the grotto experience will be approximately 30 minutes for the actual experience; this does not include time in Thomas Land.
SHOULD WE ARRIVE IN ADVANCE OF OUR CASTLE OF DREAMS BOOKING TIME?
The time stated on your ticket is your entry time into the attraction, please arrive at least 5 minutes prior. No late entries to the experience are allowed.
ARE MAGICAL CHRISTMAS PARK TICKETS AVAILABLE THROUGH A 3RD PARTY, HOW DO I BOOK MY FATHER CHRISTMAS VISIT?
No tickets are available through any 3rd party and can only be booked directly with Drayton Manor.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Most of our attractions are outdoors, so we recommend you wear something to keep you warm and bring an umbrella if you think you will need it.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M LATE?
We’ll do our best to accommodate you but must warn you that we can’t guarantee admission to the Grotto Experience if you don’t arrive at the time booked and you may miss the experience completely.
CAN I CANCEL MY BOOKING?
Unfortunately, tickets for Magical Christmas are non-refundable.
CAN I ADD PEOPLE TO MY BOOKING AFTER I’VE MADE IT?
You can add additional people to your booking by calling our sales team on 0844 472 1950*. Depending on availability.

WHAT ABOUT PHOTOS?
Of course, you are welcome to take photos of your entire experience at Magical Christmas. If you're visiting the Castle of Dreams, one of our friendly elves will take a photo for you which is available to purchase at the end of your experience. We also have official photography available on selected rides in Thomas Land to purchase as well.
DO YOU ACCEPT GROUP BOOKINGS?
No group tickets are available.
IS THERE SOMEWHERE WE CAN ENJOY A MEAL OR HAVE FOOD AT MAGICAL CHRISTMAS?
There are plenty of magical places to get some food whilst visiting us here at Magical Christmas, including Knapford Station Café, The Burger Kitchen, Teashop, Humble Pies, Mrs Kyndley’s Kitchen, and our hotel restaurant, Parklands.
IS MAGICAL CHRISTMAS WHEELCHAIR AND PUSHCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Yes, both wheelchairs and pushchairs are available to hire from the main entrance near Thomas Land at a cost of £10 per day for the entire day, a £10 returnable deposit must be left.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MAGICAL CHRISTMAS HAS TO CLOSE TEMPORARILY DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER OR FOR OTHER UNEXPECTED REASONS?
If the park is temporarily closed, we will endeavour to transfer your booking to a preferred alternative date, subject to availability.
The Park will always endeavour to be fully operational, but some of the offering may be reduced due to unforeseen circumstances.
DO ANNUAL PASS HOLDERS NEED TO PREBOOK?
Great News! You don’t need to pre-book your Magical Christmas park entry unless you want to upgrade to our all-new grotto experience for just £8pp, then you can either book via our website or call our friendly team on 01827 287979.
DO YOU CHARGE FOR CAR PARKING?
Yes, there is a daily car parking fee of £6.00 per vehicle, unless you are staying at our hotel as they offer free parking.
