WHICH ATTRACTIONS WILL BE OPEN?
During Drayton's Magical Christmas, only Thomas Land, selected family rides and the zoo are open, no thrill rides will be open.
WHAT DAYS AND TIMES WILL DRAYTON’S MAGICAL CHRISTMAS BE TAKING PLACE?

WHAT TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE?
There are 2 types of ticket:
1. Park only – This gives access to park only. Includes Thomas Land, selected family rides, 15-acre Zoo and all set in a wonderful Christmas environment, with falling snow, decorations, roaming entertainment, and a goodbye from Father Christmas himself.
2. Park and Tales with Father Christmas. This includes all of the above, AND our new Tales with Father Christmas experience. This is a 30 minute experience which includes an Elf show and some time with Father Christmas in a group experience with 4 other families. Children will receive a gift and a letter from Father Christmas. Plus, a photo opportunity.
IS THE TALES WITH FATHER CHRISTMAS EXPERIENCE FOR ALL OF THE FAMILY?
Drayton’s Magical Christmas is fully inclusive and is to be enjoyed by all members of the family. Tales with Father Christmas is a character led experience that will last approximately 30 minutes. Elves along the way to assist you with anything you need. We will also have wheelchairs available to hire. There will also be a place to leave pushchairs as we advise not taking these into the Castle of Dreams due to restrictions on space.
WHAT ARE THE COVID MEASURES IN PLACE FOR THE FATHER CHRISTMAS EXPERIENCE?
The experience has been built with all COVID measures in place. Social distancing will be in place at all times and we ask that guests adhere to these measures in place to make it enjoyable for every single family.
All guests over the age of 11, must wear a mask whilst in the Castle of Dreams.
Social distancing between each group will be in place, and between guests and Father Christmas and the Elves.
Hand Sanitiser stations are available on entry.
Routine cleaning of family stations between each group entering the Castle.

CAN I USE TESCO CLUBCARD VOUCHERS?
No, Tesco vouchers cannot be redeemed against Drayton’s Magical Christmas this year.
CAN I BUY TICKETS ON THE DAY?
Yes, you can buy park tickets on the day, however there is no guarantee you will be able to upgrade to the Tales with Father Christmas experience.
CAN I STAY AT DRAYTON MANOR HOTEL THE NIGHT BEFORE OR AFTER DRAYTON’S MAGICAL CHRISTMAS?

AFTER I BOOK, WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY TICKET(S)?
Once you have made your booking, your confirmation email will be sent to you containing either your e-tickets if you have chosen this option or your confirmation number if you have chosen to collect your tickets on the day.
WILL MY CHILD RECEIVE A GIFT?
Yes, all children that visit Father Christmas will receive a gift. However, please note due to current restrictions and availability of stocks in the UK, the gift may vary for each group.
CAN MY CHILD GO INTO TALES WITH FATHER CHRISTMAS ON THEIR OWN?
No, children under the age of 12 are not allowed to enter the experience unaccompanied.
DO I NEED A TALES WITH FATHER CHRISTMAS EXPERIENCE TICKET AS AN ADULT?
All who wish to experience Tales with Father Christmas need a ticket.
I'M AN ULTIMATE PASSHOLDER. DOES MY 0-1 YEAR OLD NEED A TICKET FOR TALES WITH FATHER CHRISTMAS?
Yes, this costs just £5.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I BOOK ONTO THE EXPERIENCE?
In line with Government guidelines, no more than 6 people can book onto the experience.
HOW LONG WILL THE DRAYTON’S MAGICAL CHRISTMAS EXPERIENCE LAST?
The experience can last all day as we have a variety of rides and attractions available around the park for all ages. If you have purchased a Tales with Father Christmas experience you should approximately 30 minutes for the actual experience this does not include time in Thomas Land.
SHOULD WE ARRIVE IN ADVANCE OF OUR CASTLE OF DREAMS BOOKING TIME?
The time stated on your ticket is your entry time into the attraction, please arrive at least 5 minutes prior. No late entry to the experience is allowed, due to COVID restrictions.
ARE MAGICAL CHRISTMAS PARK TICKETS AVAILABLE THROUGH A 3RD PARTY, HOW DO I BOOK MY FATHER CHRISTMAS VISIT?
No tickets are available through any 3rd party and can only be booked directly with Drayton Manor.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Most of our attractions are outdoors, so we recommend you wear something to keep you warm and bring an umbrella if you think you will need it.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M LATE?
We’ll do our best to accommodate you but must warn you that we can’t guarantee admission if you don’t arrive at the time booked and you may miss the experience completely.
CAN I CANCEL MY BOOKING?
Unfortunately, tickets for Drayton’s Magical Christmas are non-refundable.
CAN I ADD PEOPLE TO MY BOOKING AFTER I’VE MADE IT?
You can add additional people to your booking by calling our sales team on 0844 472 1950*. Depending on availability.

WHAT ABOUT PHOTOS?
Of course, you are welcome to take photos of your entire experience at Drayton’s Magical Christmas. If you're visiting the Castle of Dreams, one of our friendly elves will take a photo for you which is available to purchase at the end of your experience. We also have official photography available on selected rides in Thomas Land to purchase as well.
DO YOU ACCEPT GROUP BOOKINGS?
No, under the current guidelines, we can only take up to groups of 6 and no large group bookings can be made.
IS THERE SOMEWHERE WE CAN ENJOY A MEAL OR HAVE FOOD AT DRAYTON’S MAGICAL CHRISTMAS?
There are plenty of magical places to get some food whilst visiting us here at Drayton’s Magical Christmas, including Knapford Station Café, The Burger Kitchen, Teashop, Humble Pies, Mrs Kyndley’s Kitchen, and our hotel restaurant: Parklands. Please note due to COVID restrictions all food outlets are takeaway only. You can book a table at our hotel restaurant.
WHY IS THERE NO PARADE AND FIREWORKS THIS YEAR?
After careful consideration, and due to Government guidelines, it is not feasible to put on the end of day show. Whilst capacity in the Park has been reduced, for all guests to collate in one area at the same time would mean social distancing could not be adhered to.
IS DRAYTON’S MAGICAL CHRISTMAS WHEELCHAIR AND PUSHCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Yes, both wheelchairs and pushchairs are available to hire from the main entrance near Thomas Land at a cost of £10 per day for the entire day, a £10 returnable deposit must be left.
WHAT HAPPENS IF DRAYTON’S MAGICAL CHRISTMAS HAS TO CLOSE TEMPORARILY DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER OR FOR OTHER UNEXPECTED REASONS, SUCH AS COVID?
If the park is temporarily closed, we will endeavour to transfer your booking to a preferred alternative date, subject to availability.
The Park will always endeavour to be fully operational, but some of the offering may be reduced due to unforeseen circumstances.
DO ULTIMATE PASS HOLDERS NEED TO PREBOOK?

ULTIMATE PASS HOLDER UNABLE TO ATTEND?
Due to restricted ticket capacities, please call our friendly team on 01827 287979 if you are unable to attend, allowing us to release your space to other pass holders.
DO YOU CHARGE FOR CAR PARKING?
Yes, there is a daily car parking fee of £6.00 per vehicle, unless you are staying at our hotel as they offer free parking.
