One of the great things about working at Drayton is meeting new people and working in an environment that sees people having fun every day! We have a wide age range of different people working for us and lots of new faces every year, as well as those people who return to us season after season.

It’s an ideal job for school, college and university students who want some part-time work at the weekends and during the holidays. It also great for people who are looking for more hours and want to work weekdays during term-time.

This year, Drayton’s main season runs from 26th March until 1st November and the park opens every day apart from a few very quiet days during September and October.

Typically, the park opens at around 9:30/10:00am and closes around 5:00-6:00pm, other than our Fireworks weekend at the end of the season when we stay open until 9:00pm.

Working at Drayton is perfect as a first-time job for people wanting to learn new skills, but we also gladly welcome people with experience. Customer service is key and as a family run business we pride ourselves in providing excellent service and a happy friendly face, to all our guests. If you’re an outgoing person who likes to work in a big team of people, then this is the job for you. On the contrary, if you prefer to work alone or in a smaller team then we can also accommodate your needs.

Requirements

 

As a Tickets Guest Host, you will be the first point of contact for all our guests.  You will meet and greet our guests making sure that each one of them receives a friendly welcome with your excellent customer service skills.  You will need to be helpful, clear and above all, knowledgeable on all aspects of the Park to provide guests with all the answers and give them a great start to their day ‘creating fun family memories’.

The role will involve selling tickets via automated ticketing systems, scanning and collecting tickets and vouchers on turnstiles, advising customers on ticketing options, as well as keeping the entrance areas clean and tidy.

Who are we looking for? - Individuals with a can-do attitude, a strong team ethos and a passion for great customer service. We work in a fun, fast paced environment so a great sense of humor is a must!!
