From the rides in Thomas Land to the thrill rides like Storm force 10 and Shockwave, our Maintenance Team works all year round ensuring that all our rides and attractions are safe and reliable and presented on schedule each day for our guests to enjoy.
As an experienced Maintenance Fitter / Engineer, safety will be at the heart of everything you do. Working with an established team undertaking daily safety and maintenance checks on our rides you will also carry out reactive maintenance where needed. The delivery of a preventative maintenance programme and responding to service breakdowns will also keep you busy.
Practical experience of plant maintenance is essential. Experience of working with hydraulics, pneumatics and gearboxes is an advantage however training will be provided where required for the right candidate.
Training to at least NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Teamwork and flexibility is key to the success of this role. During the season you will be required to work some weekends and Bank Holidays on a rota basis and at times will be working alone and as such must be confident in dealing with issues as they arise and have a problem-solving approach to your work.
