Race for the Sodor Cup

The world’s most famous blue engine and pre-schooler’s favourite, Thomas the Tank Engine, is gearing up with new friends and familiar faces in the brand new 60-minute animated motion picture, Thomas & Friends: Race for the Sodor Cup™, premiering at Drayton Manor for two days only: 4th & 5th September 2021.

In the action-packed movie, one of Thomas’ new best friends – super-fast electric engine Kana – is convinced her speed is all she needs to win the Race for the Sodor Cup; a competition that draws trains from all over the world to the Island of Sodor.

When racing practice goes wrong for Kana and her partner Kenji, and causes Kenji to get hurt, Kana is teamed up with Thomas. Together, Kana and Thomas soon discover that it will take teamwork to become the best racers they can be – but is it enough for them to win the Sodor Cup?
