UK Theme Park Awards 2023: Drayton Win Big!

The winner’s of the 2023 UK Theme Park Awards have been announced. The awards are organised by ThemeParks-UK.com, an independent consumer guide to UK theme parks.

For the fourth year, the British public were able to vote for their favourite theme parks in these prestigious national awards.

With over 220,000 public votes cast, we’re thrilled to reveal that we have won a fantastic 8 awards; including 4 golds, 3 silvers and a bronze.

GOLD – Best Value Theme Park

We’re proud to take home the gold award for Best Value Theme Park for the 2nd year running.

With over 50 rides & attractions to experience here at Drayton, including Europe’s only Thomas Land, epic family thrill rides and even a 15-acre conservation zoo; our resort offers a fantastic value day out.

GOLD – Best Thrill Ride for Maelstrom

The UK’s first and only Intamin Gyro Swing, Maelstrom, won the gold award for Best Thrill ride.

Opening in 2002, this ride has been thrilling guests for over 11 years. She’s an oldie but goldie!

GOLD – Best New Event for Night at the Manor

Last October, we hosted Drayton’s very first scare event – the gold award winning Night at the Manor.

We recently announced our 2023 scare event – Haunted Manor. Filled with insane scare zones and scare experiences, it’s going to be spooktacular fun for all those that dare to visit.

In 2021 we won bronze, 2022 we won silver… But in 2023 we’ve taken it up a level. Our social media content is now gold award winning!

SILVER – Best New Attraction for Thomas & Percy’s Submarine Splash

This year, we expanded Europe’s only Thomas Land with the UK’s first All Engines Go themed ride – Thomas & Percy’s Submarine Splash.

We’re so proud to have won silver in the best new attraction category for this fantastic ride.

SILVER – Best Theme Park for Toddlers

With Europe’s only Thomas Land, a 15-acre conservation zoo, fun-tastic play parks and so much more, Drayton has been awarded the accolade of the Best Theme Park for Toddlers (silver).

SILVER – Best Water Ride for Stormforce 10

Stormforce 10, a heart-stopping, three-drop water ride with a twist that will thrill any adrenalin junkie, has won the silver award for Best Water Ride.

BRONZE – Best Customer Service
