Village weaver
This medium-sized weaver is one of the most common weavers found throughout Africa. Their name comes from the complex and intricate basket nests that the males will create to attract females. Females will judge males based on their nests and if they are suitable to hold their eggs. If they deem them acceptable then they will add to it and line them with feathers and leaves.
