We are celebrating the birth of the royal baby with FREE entry this weekend, but only for namesakes of baby Archie.
We are inviting visitors young and old who share the same name as the new arrival into the park free of charge this weekend (11 – 12 May) to celebrate the royal birth.
Lucky Archies will simply have to state their name at the gate and bring a form of photo identification to claim their free day pass to the park.*
For visitors who don’t share the royal baby’s name, we are offering 50% off tickets for this weekend, but you’ll have to act fast.
We are hosting a flash sale on our website from 10am on Wednesday 8 May, offering theme park fans the chance to visit the park this weekend (11 – 12 May) for 50% off the gate price – on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Big savings can be made for Archie’s companions during the sale when you book online in advance at https://www.draytonmanor.co.uk/tickets-and-prices, with adult prices (aged 12+) reduced from £39 to £19.50, children aged 4 – 11 from £29 to £14.50 and senior tickets from £29 to £14.50.
Archie and friends will be able to choose from our 100+ rides and attractions, including Europe’s only Thomas Land, featuring Thomas & Friends™. Suitable for the young and young at heart, Thomas Land consists of 25 tot-friendly favourites, including the exhilarating Cranky’s Tower Drop and dizzying Rocking Bulstrode.
For brave coaster fans, there are a whole host of world-renowned thrill rides to enjoy, such as the stomach-flipping reverse rollercoaster Accelerator and the breath-taking Apocalypse; the first ever stand up drop tower ride in the world.
Animal-loving Archies will have a wild time with us learning all about the zoo’s 100+ different animals, from roaring tigers and fluffy red pandas, to colourful flamingos and wise owls. With daily talks and demonstrations from zookeepers, there is plenty to see and do to keep young royals entertained.
William Bryan, Managing Director at Drayton Manor Park, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Archies to the park this weekend to celebrate the birth of the beautiful baby boy.
“It’s always exciting to welcome a new royal baby into the world, and we wish Meghan and Harry the best of luck – hopefully we’ll be seeing them in Thomas Land next year for Archie’s first birthday!”
