We have been going to Drayton Manor Theme Park regularly for the past 2 years and loved every visit, fast forward to today and we have just completed our first year as Drayton Manor Theme Park ambassadors, We have visited so many times this past year and enjoyed all the events that Thomas Land had to offer, the magic of Sodor has not worn off at all!

My children are aged 6 & 3 years so last year’s ambassadorship for us was perfect timing for us all, Leah is a massive Thomas fan and really does get sucked into all the action and loves seeing her favourite characters and also Sir Topham Hatt. Whilst Lewis is a bit older he still enjoys clinging onto his passion for his favourite Blue Engine and enjoying all the rides on offer.

We were back again at the end of February to experience the Thomas Land Weekends Event a special event happening over 2 weekends prior to the rest of the park opening for the main season on the 12th March 2016. An event perfect for youngest of thrill seekers, who are fans of Thomas The Tank Engine and all his friends to enjoy the sounds and magic of Sodor.

Myself and various other bloggers arrived early on the Saturday to experience a special VIP hour in Thomas Land the kids had an absolute blast running around from ride to ride with their friends soaking in as many rides as possible before 10.30.

The joy about events such as this means that only Thomas Land and the Zoo are open to the public, meaning your little ones are fully absorbed into the atmosphere a day out perfect for them.

After running around the main complex of Thomas Land we made our way up to the VIP rooms located above Sodor Airport for refreshments, here there are 4 rooms which can be hired out for special events, birthdays etc which are all decorated superbly with Thomas wallpaper and also have fabulous wooden engines on the walls where your child can open doors to look at engines and interiors. There are TV’s showing back to back episodes and bean bags in each room so your child can enjoy a break, snack, drink and watch a show or two before heading back out for more fun. From the balcony of the VIP lounges you can overlook Thomas Land watching all the excitement below.

When we headed back out we made our way over to Drayton Manor Zoo to see all the animals, the kids love the Meerkat enclosure and also being able to walk through their house is a firm favourite. At the back of the Zoo you then come across the Dino Trail before picking up the other side of Thomas Land. Here the kids enjoy playing around on Spencer’s Adventure Playground, Terence’s Driving School and the Thomas Exhibition before we jumped aboard Rosie’s Train back to Thomas Land.

Drayton Manor Theme Park is a fantastic location for making memories and enjoying what the park has to offer for families and guests of any age.

During our visit I recorded a video diary, of which you are free to watch so that you can get a good glimpse of what to expect on your visit.
